My Time During My Unplug

In the modern world to many people unplugging is a nightmare. Giving up something that we take advantage of on the daily and then somehow getting rid of it for some time to me is like fasting: torture. Here how I crawled out of it.

For my first day of unplugging I knew what I wanted to do first thing so I finally got to read a book I had been putting down called "The Total Money Makeover" currently reading a chapter a day, I found very little more to do. I can relate to what is in this book a lot. If you're thinking about getting this book, which can lead to more money, then I suggest this book click the affiliate HTML link to check it out. I'm currently still reading it and can still relate a whole bunch to what is said in this book. After reading my portion I had very little to do next, I was stuck, bored, and overall I felt I made the worst mistake of my life.

After contemplating about what needed to be done and getting it done the day was going to be a long one. What was I to do? Sit in a chair, eat, then sleep (actually I don't know why I didn't think of that sooner, that would have been a breeze). I gave myself some leeway to learn something new. I had had software on my computer called Blender and didn't know what I could do with it, I looked up a video tutorial by blender guru where he walks you through how to make donuts. After getting stuck I went to0 other channels and tried to learn something. In the end, I ended up messing with some text, giving it some animation ( which was totally by accident) that made it bounce up and down, you can check it out on my Instagram @xXderantsXx. I didn't know what else I could do after this. For one, I was way in over my head on software that's super complex but experts say is super easy. I decided to drop Blender and start something back up.

Keep in mind this unplugging thing was a whole week, and right now we are halfway through day 3! I knew I needed to get out of the house, but I didn't have a dog so there was very little reason too besides fresh air and running. I went to the lake down at the pier and watched the waves go up and down. While I was there I wondered what unplugging was, and I meant to the core of it. Was it really to just get away from technology? or was it a refresher? Could I watch movies, they did that in the '50s?

After a while, I got to thinking "How am I going to scale this website? How can I get the most out of it?" I came up with the idea of a podcast, which I'm sure you're waiting to hear more so here it is. I'll be posting about my blogs here and go over ideas and events, and other topics in gaming to keep you guys excited. I occasionally do want to have guests over on the show, and if those get more attention then they'll become a norm of course. But here's the kicker: I have no clue how to name a podcast. It seems like a simple thing but when I look at podcasts I see random words down the page almost as if I should leave it up to a random word generator (I won't, I have originality). The only one I have in mind is the GGP for GamingGazette Podcast. I hope you guys like the idea and help me out with it by adding in other names for the podcast.

I had also thought about putting the GamingGazette logo on a T-shirt and selling them on Shopify. I hope that one comes through because that in itself is a blessing. Oh and I almost forgot to tell you guys. Before I unplugged I got sponsorships from Rogue energy (use code gazette to get 10% off). It's G-fuel's competitor that beats them on price. Once you look and compare their prices you'll quickly see why Rogue is Better. you can check them out by clicking the link https://bit.ly/2Y8MTCA.
