The news about the PS5 is hot in conversations at the moment, there have been so many people talking about the specs of the new console which seems like a game changer in many ways than none. There was a Wired interview with Mark Cerny discussing this topic here: https://bit.ly/2V8sFI0.

The first thing to point out about the PS5 is the ray tracing processioning it will have. PS5 will be fully capable of handling PS5 which is impressive since many computers today have trouble operating with ray tracing. Ray tracing lighting is extremely graphically intense so it's surprising that this is said to be in the next play station. What this also means is that ray tracing will become more popular and more of a norm for games in the future.

The console will also house 8k video meaning that the resolution of games will improve drastically, and even better the world is just now getting a bit of 4k resolution. 8k resolution is absolutely astonishing if this will be promised and smoothly supported. Another thing that was added in the interview was a flash-based memory card which is smaller than your ordinary SSD card typically used. To help with the proof that this is a big improvement, Cerny gave an example of when he opened spider-man PS4 load time when fast traveling and also compared them to a dev kit of PS5. The load times went from 15 seconds to 0.8 seconds, truly amazing specs for the PS5 already.

We all were wondering what if Sony was trying to go all in for digital content for their future play stations, but as it turns out the PS5 will, in fact, have a disk drive so users can play games they bought on disks. The console will also house 3D audio which isn't even the neatest feature I've gone over as you can tell. 3D audio in a video game is truly something to be interested in. 3D audio makes the game feel like everything is all about you, the presence of sound can be a great factor in gaming, as that one sneaky enemy is coming right behind you and thanks to your headset you could hear him. It will also be included in the PSVR, PlayStation upcoming VR headset.

If you don't have a headset that handles sound in any way that makes it feel like your fully immersed in a game then what are you doing, what you need is a Razer Kraken 7.1. This headset supports THX Spatial Audio for 360° positional sound, and Game/Chat Balance for that perfect mix of game and chat audio. Find this headset here: https://bit.ly/2Vw81BI
