Recently, my family and I have moved next door. This move, I feel has hindered me from blogging regularly. So here's to more regular content and why I dared to start a blog. Stay till the end of the post to see the new upcoming plans I have in mind, you don't want to miss out on the value you'll get from them.

GamingGazzete started on WordPress as GamingGeek. However, there was already a website that used named this so I had to make a clever change and started again. Don't get it twisted, the posts where still the same the new thing now is that I switched Wix. Wix was easier to use in the beginning and helped me understand basics of funding a website and keeping it up with everything. I had hit several sumps in the beginning. For Instance, I don't have a logo until my survive post was made (link up) which meant that I didn't even have much to show for. I created a logo through place-it and wanted one for plans of getting employees but I knew this was going to take years till I finally gained traction.

My first few months I didn't have any way to advertise, so I didn't know how to do that. When a YouTube ad appeared for a webinar I enrolled and waited. (Keep in mind this was during school time around Christmas break) The man went over some stuff I wrote down but I was just looking for an ah-ha moment within this webinar. About 15 minutes in the man is telling us to create ads on Facebook through ad Manager, an advertisement platform made from Facebook.

The big question I know many of you want to know is, why? Why start this now, why not later? WHY have you gone this far? Well, the truth is I watched a whole bunch of motivational videos then one had finally clicked and I got the idea that I wanted to make money outside the school system and prove to people that I was even better than what they thought. Then as I gained more and more ideas and understood more I watched affiliate marketing videos and listened, wrote notes and executed. I have affiliate links everywhere all over my blog posts. After a while and at the beginning of this year (2019) I had found Gary Vaynerchuk aka Gary Vee. This man has helped me so much this year, I had pretty much the same attitude and perspective on things only now it has strengthened.

I wanted this blog to be way bigger than what IGN is today, and even Kotaku but thanks to Gary I found I had held onto that with a high standard and I needed to lower them to what I could look forward to. I remember taking out days from school to brainstorm how this blog could become bigger than IGN but I, of course, I never had the guts to execute on those ideas I guess I also thought it would be to soon and would need to be later in life.

Currently, I've given it some thought to switching the platform over to maybe Bluehost and starting a Shopify store to sell merchandise for the blog and I will start up a podcast with no actual goal in mind but to just have people on it and to upscale the blog and the podcast itself. That's it for this week's blog, do forget to subscribe for more weekly content, because it's free for both of us, and you get information from me if you are apart of the subscription. Don't forget to contact me by scrolling to the bottom of the web page and submitting any questions or statements.
