Everyone can tell that gaming will change for the better in the next coming years, whether it's because of a new gaming system or a VR headset that just knocks the competition out of the park.
What's more likely? A new VR headset of course! You see, commercially sold VR headsets can date back to the 1990's. In 1995 Nintendo's "Virtual boy" was released, as many people see now as something from a horror movie, it was actually pretty nice to see something like this to take place. Now in the present day we have the HTC Vive or the Oculus Rift which have come a long way from the virtual boy.

Virtual reality grew at a faster rate than ever. In 2018, people bought them left and right hosting reviews for the next newest thing on the VR market. These toys are pretty impressive too given the price these bad bays have on them. Mainstream headsets from big tech companies can cost as much as $499. Many people are looking into the future of VR and see that it is quite hard to say for sure what that will be. The truth is, VR doesn't have a future, it is the future and all we can hope for is better features and a lower cost.

Apart from many mainstream VR headsets a new type of headset seems to be making an appearance into the market called augmented reality or AR for short. AR headsets are similar to VR headsets with just a few quirky features. A few headsets on the market right now are HoloLens, Acer and Magic One leap just to name a few. These type of headsets projects objects in your field of view. Since 2016 Microsoft has made their HoloLens 2 and showcased it about a week ago. Customers have said that this will be the future and that they see it as the next big thing.
