Roblox is a fun game for all ages, you can be an adult and still not feel weird playing the games on site as many of the games on Roblox are made by adults for children alike. One certain person, however, has decided to bring Roblox's Jailbreak some competition. Yes, people, I'm talking about Madcity.

Madcity was released on Roblox in 2017 by Taymaster (a developer known for Twisted Murder, and fashion Famous) When you load into the game the first thing you see is a slideshow type load screen going through different parts of the city. You have the option from the beginning to choose one of three teams, heroes, police, and criminals. Each with their benefits and cons.

The police are allowed to have more people and have an arsenal of weapons to fight back against the criminals. Police also have heroes as an ally to fight alongside with during robberies. There are fewer heroes in a game at a time, but they have the ability to fly and have a default power based on the characters power. To combat the police, the criminals also have a wide range of weapons to choose from and can steal hero superpowers after a superhero dies.

Now, from all these teams and little information it seems a bit well balanced, and to be honest, it sort of is. Due to a new update over the weekend, there has been a police dog update, which is more than self-explanatory. This update buffed the Police team and made escaping from these evil, gun carrying players (yes I'm talking about the police team) a not-so-easy feat. Needless to say, I think a Nerf will come about to the criminal team like a doggy trap to be realistic or something that makes it to where the player on the police team has to go back to the police station to get a new dog.

Icons are a really neat thing that also makes this game a great competitor for Jailbreak. Taymastar and his team included icons for the heist that criminals could do, this allowed for people to see where everything was instead of having to see a landmark that reminded players with "Oh! I remember that it was to the right of this" or a "This looks familiar" this was a cool feature I greatly appreciate over jailbreak. The icons aren't just for the heist they are also markers for the bases for the teams, and to tell players where the auto shop is along with the gun store.

Finally, Madcity is not just a work in progress, it is a fully playable game with mechanics that run properly. However, although it has grown to be a great competitor to Jailbreak there are still things that may need to be put in place that would make the game way more fun than what it is now. I found that the team that makes the game is focused on balancing the teams at the moment of this blog, but what isn't said is what they were willing or going to do.

Emphasis on the icons
